The Bedford Inn was originally named the Bedford Motor Court. It was an established landmark in southeast Michigan landmark for many years. Before changing its name, the Bedford Motor Court added a series of themed suites. Soon thereafter, in 1999, the Inn came under new ownership. The new owners refurbished and updated the hotel, adding king size beds and new carpet among other amenities, and transformed it into the ideal southeast Michigan honeymoon destination it is now.
